An organization’s most valuable asset is knowledge. However, managers may be challenged
with successfully transferring corporate knowledge from one location to another
location and/or between employees. Transferring tacit knowledge (i.e.,
organizational knowledge or corporate knowledge) is complex and difficult because
the corporate knowledge is in the employees’ minds. Dr. Bonita Best Coppedge leverages her research on
transferring tacit knowledge with the movement of people and years of industry
experience to assist managers, knowledge transfer professionals, knowledge
transfer participants, and organizations successfully transfer and continuously
grow tacit knowledge.
